Text The language of the earth
For this eternal beauty that is there and will be there to see
There is a secret sense that we are not given to know
It is a complex mechanism of contradicting logic
A succession of love and violence and more of love
And as in heaven so on earth
Like instinct and reason
The wise word of the prophet
And the warm blood of an animal
And as in peace so in war
It is a natural balance
This is the language of the earth
Along the border line
Between hate and love
Who knows what it takes to leave and then return
What is it that pushes us to divide good from evil
Perhaps these words
All these words
Just words
You are very hard life and beautiful to remember
You have the big eyes of my first love and the talent of the sea
And he knows how to teach absences calm, forgiveness and anger
The immaculate liturgy of kisses to satiate the lips
And as in heaven so on earth
And first the wheat and after the bread
We are the poet's ink
And the sacrifice on the altar
And as in peace so in war
And hug and then hurt
This is the language of the earth
Along the border line
Between hate and love
Who knows what it takes to leave and then return
What is it that pushes us to divide good from evil
Perhaps these words
Only these words
Just words
Who know how to hurt and save, who know how to invent
And we with the nose up
We remain and watch
Between peace and resentment
Between glory and error
Between shame and amazement
And as in heaven so in heaven
It's like living and dying
This is the language of the earth
And there is nothing to understand
